![]() ![]() Thanks for the links but I have a program which goes through all the process and comes up with error 41 head hot as the paper goes down ready to print the head moves forward then stops when the 2 red lights come on. The action of many CIS units (the cheaper ones usually) can result in the tubing hitting part or parts of the printer body and thus loosen the joint where tube fits to cartridge head (small plastic bend) and in other threads, I have advised a careful clean and application of some clear glue to make the joint stronger. The only thing I can think of at this moment is to check for jammed paper shreds, as I know that can restrict the printhead movement (only needs a tiny bit to jam) and give rise to similar problems. From what you say, did you actually visit those websites as lots of advice from practical solution point of view? Utilities are available (not sure what you meant - what utility did you use as seems ineffective, compared to others available?)
